It is always good to see new commercial uses of the waterways. We recently passed a London innovation from a new Tug company who may be attracting new navigators to see t'cut from t'middle, with a unique duck-level perspective.

They heat some water to 38 degrees, and keep it warm with a log-burning stove in the front of the 'Hottug'. Reassuringly, they have clean water for each new group of customers, who don their swimming gear and navigate their hot-tub along the canal. Ideally the company need long sections without locks for their proposed expansion to other locations. Just the thing, then, for a chilly day on the Aire and Calder.
