New For Old

The new sign replaces the old. I thought I heard Richard Parry (Chief Executive) say that the new brand's rollout would happen as part of normal maintenance activities over the next 2 to 3 years. Whatever the reason, visitors to Leeds Waterfront are some of the first to be greeted with the new doughnut-shaped emblem, replaced on the afternoon of the logo-launching event.

Perhaps a doughnut would be a good prize for the first current sighting of a three-logos-ago (Swan then Bridge then) wavy-water-BW symbol.

And having set the challenge, it was straightforward to find one: at the top of Stourbridge locks south of Birmingham, high on an offside wall, there it is:
And having done that, it was easy to find an even older sign, before BW adopted their wavy logo. This one is on Braunston Tunnel.
